Iyengar yoga specialises in a deeper understanding of asana (postures). Focus is placed upon alignment and subtle internal movement to enrich the health, vitality and outlook of the practitioner. A student does not have to be supple to attend, in fact, most students are quite the opposite. Suppleness is one of the benefits of practicing yoga but not the goal. The class is taught by an experienced practitioner, Darren, who is conscientious to his student's needs.
